Fourth of July was gravy

Our booth at 4th of July fair

Ahi did well at the fair, thanks to his girlfriend who bought 2 hats from him before the fair. Those two hats paid for the cost of the booth plus the donation merchandise, so everything else was gravy. Thanks to our new and old friends who came by to give him encouragement, check out his merchandise and even buy a few hats. At the end of the day, he sold six hats and one order of shoes. In between, he took grandma’s red converse shoes off of her and designed those too.

Last Minute Prep Day
July 3, 2009
It’s July 3, 2009 - and although Hilo is still raining, I need to get these hats waterproofed and ready to go for tomorrow’s craft fair. If you are in the Volcano area, come to Cooper Center’s covered playcourt. I’m in booth 24 from 8-2. Also, as an incentive, if you visit at least 6 booths, you are eligible to win a Pride of Volcano gift basket which contains donations from all the vendors. I’m putting in a hat – so come down!

We have a booth at the Volcano 4th of July craft fair in Volcano, Hawaii, so come check us out. We’ll bring lots of different colored hats, and we have blank ones if you want a customized one by Ahi. We also are taking orders for shoes and if we can get a supplier before then, we’ll have some t-shirts.
